Yesterday, Apple opened up a new part of their website. It’s to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Mac.

Apple.com/Mac first invites you to watch a short video. It’ smoky about 2 minutes long, but quite interesting to see a brief cover of the history.

After that, is the Mac Timeline. It shows you every single Mac, including it’s release year, right from the start. It also says what the main use of each Mac was, mostly we see Design, Art and Music involved.

There’s also the “Your First Mac” section. From here, you can select which Mac you first used (ever), state the main thing you used it for, and which country you’re from. Apple is collecting this data, and some of it is on the Mac 30 part of the site right now, with some interesting numbers!

So go ahead, check out the site, and maybe let us know what the first Mac you ever used was, in the comments!
